Its always daunting choosing the right teacher for something you really feel passionate about learning. But don't just take Bob's word for it, heres some of the  people Bobs been helping and what they have to say.

peter kitcherside, dartford

I approached Bob Because:

"I wanted to learn to read music and play the sax. I was 68 years old at the time. I was a complete beginner"

Bob helped my by:

"Talking sense. I had always wanted to play the tenor sax. Several music shops had advised me that I should start with the alto sax. Bob said it was no problem to start with the tenor. He also offered to go with me to a shop to select a sax."

The result was:

"That I bought a tenor sax. I had weekly one-hour lessons with Bob and passed the Trinity Grade 4 exam, with Merit, 2 years later. I am now a member of one of Bob's student musical groups, a sax quartet, playing soprano sax"

One thing I liked was:

"In the beginning, I telephoned six or seven sax teachers I had found on the web and he was the only one who answered my call. I concluded that the others were not full time teachers but just trying to earn extra money. In fact none of them even bothered to reply to the messages I left."

I found the experience:

"Rewarding. After eight years I am still having lessons with Bob. He must be doing something right!"

I would recommend bob to people who need:

"Either to learn music from scratch or, if already with some experience, to improve their knowledge and technique"

"My tone improved and so did my tuning"

"Enjoyable usually, also hard work at times.

I WOULD RECOMMEND BOB TO PEOPLE WHO NEED:

"To improve my skills"
